Collective overtone singing practices

“Overtone singing” refers to a set of vocal techniques that make the harmonics of a fundamental sound clearly perceptible. After years of practice with composer Roberto Laneri, with whom she collaborates regularly, she recently began to dedicate herself to its transmission through collective vocal sharing moments. Starting from the synthesis of vocal and compositional techniques theorised by Roberto Laneri himself, contaminated by her own research and artistic experience, she is elaborating a personal mode of transmission that sees harmonic singing as a practice of active listening and vocal expression.

Since 2023, the practices have been held at Via Zamboni 72 in Bologna. They have been shared at INOSSERVANZA Festival (Bologna, September 2023), fermento \\\ ambiente memorie ascolti (Rome, November 2023), OFF GALLLERIAPIÙ (Bologna, January 2024), SASA – Summer Academy of Sonic Arts (Corfù, July 2024).
